Annapurna Base Camp
Annapurna Base Camp trekking also known ABC trekking is the most popular trekking trail in Nepal. The 4130m trekking trail provides the trekking enthusiasts with 12-13 days of full exciting and wonderful experiences. The trekking circuit includes mostly Annapurna Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal Ranges and Kali Gandaki River Valley. Peaks in the Annapurna circuit also include (8,091m) Annapurna I, Nilgiri (7,061 m) and Machhapuchchhre (6,993 m). The difference in elevation of this trail which generates a remarkable diversity in flora and fauna found in this region.
The available hotels and lodges are well equipped and provide excellent services. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek can easily be done independently. It is possible to do this trek in all seasons; however, in the winter the Base Camp can sometimes be closed due to the snow level. In spring time the huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom which gives the trek an extra appeal. ABC trekking route is the optional to the Everest Base Campo trekking. ABC trek is categorized as moderate trek in the Annapurna region. Trekkers can follow through villages of Ghandruk, Landruk, Tolka, Pothana and Australian Camp and explore the charming hamlet, culture, people and enjoy 1 or 2 days extra in nature.
